STORY BEHIND ARCHITECTURAL HOUSING
Founding Principal Antoine Meinnel shared his insights on how to design homes rather than houses, at a dialogue organized by The Gentry hub. The engaging panel discussion that follow shed a light on the importance of the collaboration with owners and the duty of the architect to advise. We appreciated to interact with students and young professionals in this setting. There was a lot of curiosity about the process of Bloom when using local materials in unconventional ways.

MoE Workshop, Takhmau Boarding School
Last month, we were invited to share our experience on designing the happy chandara Boarding school completed 3 years ago. We gave a tour along with Toutes a l'ecole representative to a delegation from Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Land Management Urban Planing and Construction. Also present, a team of representative from Republic of Korea, and countries from the mekong region (Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos). It was the opportunity to explain how sustainability is at the core of bloom's design. We introduced the 5 key principles to all bloom design: • Adaptility of the use • Passive climate control • Use of local materials and crafts • Allowing nature to surround us • Create pride and comfort for the users.
